onsemi SECO-MDK-4KW-65SPM31-GEVK is a power board evaluation kit specifically developed for three-phase motor drive applications. This development kit incorporates the NFAM5065L4B intelligent power module in a DIP39 package and supports a 400 Vdc input voltage. The board provides continuous power output exceeding 1 kW while capable of delivering peak power of up to 4 kW for short periods, making it suitable for demanding motor control tasks.

The evaluation board is fully compatible with the universal controller board based on the Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC, which integrates flexible FPGA logic combined with two Arm Cortex-A9 processor cores, delivering both high processing power and configurability.

The design integrates three-phase current sensing using three NCS20166 operational amplifiers, providing precise current feedback necessary for optimal motor control. Voltage measurements of the inverter phases and the DC-Link are conducted using resistive voltage divider circuits, ensuring accurate and stable voltage monitoring.

Temperature monitoring is facilitated through a built-in thermistor, enhancing protection and reliability during operation.
