Product Description

STMicroelectronics M24SR Communication & Wireless Development Tool M24SR Discovery Kit is a specialized evaluation kit designed for the M24SR series dynamic NFC/RFID tag ICs, operating at a maximum frequency of 13.56 MHz. This kit enables industrial, commercial, and educational users to fully explore the capabilities of the M24SR64 device featuring a 64 Kbits EEPROM.

The M24SR64 device provides dual interface functionality, accessible via I2C two-wire serial communication and a 13.56 MHz RFID/NFC interface compatible with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and NFC Forum Type 4 Tag standards. The device behaves as a slave to I2C protocol and allows seamless communication through both wired and wireless interfaces.

The board is powered through the USB bus, and it integrates an STM32F103 microcontroller which manages EEPROM operations via I2C and controls the onboard LCD display through SPI bus. This facilitates monitoring and interaction with the device for development and demonstration purposes.

The kit is available in two variants: the Standard Edition and the Premium Edition. The Premium Edition adds a headset and a Bluetooth module, enabling convenient pairing with NFC-enabled smartphones, demonstrating enhanced user interaction scenarios.
