Product Description

Amprobe 38XR-A handheld multimeter True RMS is designed for accurate industrial and electrical measurement tasks, ideal for use in automation systems, laboratory, HVAC, manufacturing, and field service applications. It provides precision measurement of AC/DC current and voltage including 4-20 mA signals, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, and other parameters in a single device.

The device features a bright blue backlit LCD with 10,000 counts for clear and precise readings. It supports True RMS measurements ensuring accuracy even for non-linear signals. Temperatures up to 1300 °C can be measured using the supplied type K thermocouple sensor. The multimeter is housed in a durable Magne-Grip™ case with a magnetic strap to facilitate hands-free operation in work environments.

Additional measurement capabilities include dBm, duty cycle, diode test, continuity, and decibel measurements. The optical RS232 interface allows for convenient data transfer to a PC for further analysis and record keeping. With operating temperature range from 0°C to 45°C and safety category rated CAT III and CAT IV for 1kV, the meter is suitable for harsh industrial environments requiring high safety standards.
