STMicroelectronics LPS22HBTR is an advanced MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems) absolute pressure sensor designed as a digital barometer for precise pressure and temperature measurements. This surface-mount sensor uses ST’s proprietary VENSENS technology, providing a high-resolution sensing element with embedded temperature compensation in a compact 10-pin HLGA package.

Operating from -40°C to 85°C, it offers an absolute pressure range of 260 to 1260 hPa and a maximum operating pressure of 126 kPa. The sensor features low power consumption below 4 μA while maintaining high accuracy at ±0.1 hPa with pressure noise lower than 1 Pa RMS.

Its digital interface supports SPI and I²C communication protocols, making it suitable for integration with a wide variety of electronic applications including smartphones, tablets, wearable devices, and weather monitoring systems. The robust design endures a maximum overload pressure of 2000 kPa, ensuring durability in demanding industrial environments.
