Schmersal RSS260-I2-D-ST is a plastic housing rectangular RFID safety switch operating at 26.4V DC with P-Type safety contacts and M8 connection. It is designed to monitor the position of safety guards, including removable, rotatable, and sliding protection equipment as well as various doors and panels. The black thermoplastic housing is self-extinguishing and offers a slim, flat profile for discreet and simple installation.
This non-contact safety switch utilizes advanced RFID technology to provide flexibility, effective tamper protection, and safety category 3 compliance for safeguarding personnel and equipment. It supports wiring up to 31 sensors in series to monitor multiple safety points efficiently.
