Pepperl + Fuchs MLV12-54/76B/124/128 Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensor block sensor design provides reliable metal detection with a detection range of 6.5 meters. It operates with a push pull output configuration and is powered by a 30 V DC supply, making it suitable for various industrial automation applications.
The photoelectric sensor is protected with an IP67 rated enclosure, crafted from nickel plated zinc die cast housing to withstand harsh industrial environments. It uses an LED as the light source for accurate sensing and includes an automatic sensitivity adjustment feature called “TEACH IN” accessible through a membrane keypad or optical interface, enabling precise switch point calibration.
This device features a maximum current capacity of 200 mA and a rapid response time of 500 microseconds, ensuring fast and noise-resistant operation. The sensor is designed to operate within a wide temperature range from -40°C to +60°C, supporting use in both extreme cold and warm conditions.
