Product Description

Block FL 4/18 is a high-quality PCB transformer designed for applications requiring 18 V ac dual outputs with a power rating of 4 VA. It features a through-hole mounting type optimized for PCB installations, ensuring easy integration into electronic circuits.

This transformer uses dual primary and dual secondary windings, allowing flexibility in connection either in series or parallel configurations. Its low profile and compact dimensions of 53 mm length, 19.6 mm width, and 44 mm depth enable space-efficient PCB layouts.

Constructed using vacuum epoxy resin moulding to achieve a UL94-V0 flame-retardant rating combined with double-section glass fibre reinforced polyamide bobbins, the transformer is durable and safe for industrial and commercial electronic applications. It is 100% electrical and flash tested to maintain reliability.

Operating efficiently across a frequency range of 50 Hz to 60 Hz and an operating temperature range from 40°C minimum to 40°C maximum, it provides a stable and efficient power transfer with 66% efficiency. Low inter-winding capacitance and reduced radiated noise contribute to its performance by minimizing interference.
