The KTR BOWEXM38-COMPLETE flexible curved-tooth gear coupler features a unique BoWex® double cardanic design providing positive torque transmission and excellent compensation for axial, angular, and radial shaft misalignment. This flexible coupler consists of steel hubs combined with a polyamide sleeve, allowing maintenance-free, low-friction operation without lubrication. Its robust materials and high thermal stability enable it to withstand demanding industrial environments with maximum operating temperatures up to 100° C.
BoWex® curved-tooth gear couplings are designed for continuous use in machinery and hydraulics, providing torsionally rigid connections with short shaft distances. The design avoids wear through elastic tooth engagement, minimizing edge pressure and enabling smooth load transmission even under fluctuating angular velocity conditions. The couplings can be assembled vertically or horizontally without special tools.
Applications include food processing, printing, textile manufacturing, sewage technology, chemical and pharmaceutical production, as well as offshore units.
