Product Description

KTR BOWEXM24-SLEEVE-PB is a flexible coupler featuring a 53 mm outer diameter and 41 mm length polyamide sleeve. It belongs to the BoWex series of curved-tooth gear couplings designed for positive torque transmission in mechanical power transmission systems.

This BoWex coupling sleeve compensates for axial, radial, and angular shaft misalignment while avoiding wear due to its unique geometric design. The combination of steel hubs and polyamide sleeves enables maintenance-free continuous operation with low friction on gear teeth, eliminating the need for lubrication and reducing corrosion risks often associated with dry running metal components.

Due to its double cardanic operation, the coupler exhibits negligible restoring forces under angular and radial displacements, maintaining smooth transmission without periodic fluctuations in angular velocity. The coupling can be installed vertically or horizontally without special tools.

The polyamide material offers a smooth, hard surface resistant to high temperatures (up to 100° Celsius) and exposure to lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids, and solvents. Its robust chemical resistance makes it ideal for use in food processing, textile production, sewage treatment, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as offshore units and other aggressive environments.
