KTR BOWEXM24-HUB-PB is a 36 mm OD, 24 mm bore steel coupler hub from the BoWex® series designed for mechanical power transmission applications. It features a double cardanic curved-tooth gear coupling that provides a torsionally rigid and flexible shaft connection, effectively compensating for axial, radial, and angular misalignments.

The coupling is constructed from steel hubs combined with polyamide sleeves, offering maintenance-free continuous operation with low friction on the teeth. This material combination prevents wear typical of metallic-to-metallic contact and performs well without lubrication, even under dry running conditions.

Designed for machinery and hydraulics, the BoWex® hub supports maximum rotational speeds up to 6000 rpm and transmits torques up to 60 Nm. Its robust design permits application in challenging industrial environments such as food processing, printing, textile, sewage, chemical, pharmaceutical, and offshore units, including exposure to air, water, chemicals, and lubricants.

The coupling hubs are supplied unbored, allowing users to machine to finish as required within coupling parameters. Each coupling comprises three parts sold separately: two coupling hubs and a gear coupling sleeve, offering flexibility in assembly. The hubs can be installed vertically or horizontally without special tooling.

BoWex® couplings comply with relevant standards including EC Directive 94/9/EC March 23, ATEX, enhancing their reliability and suitability in regulated applications. Their design minimizes restoring forces in angular and radial displacement, ensuring smooth torque transmission without fluctuations in angular velocity.
