Microchip KSZ8081MLXIA is a high-performance 48-pin LQFP Ethernet physical-layer transceiver designed for industrial and commercial networking applications. Operating at a single 3.3 V supply, it supports 10Base-T and 100Base-TX Ethernet standards with a maximum data rate of 100 Mbps, facilitating reliable data transmission over standard CAT-5 unshielded twisted pair cables.

This transceiver features an RMII version 1.2 interface with a 50 MHz reference clock output, providing compatibility with modern media access controllers (MACs). It also supports back-to-back RMII mode ideal for building 100 Mbps copper repeaters.
