Product Description
PR Electronics 9202B2B Pulse Isolator from the 9200 Series features dual channel pulse isolation with switch input and relay output configurations, powered by 19.2V and 31.2V DC supply voltages. This product is designed specifically to transmit pulse signals safely from NAMUR sensors and mechanical switches located in hazardous areas to safe zones, providing 2.6 kV galvanic isolation between input, output, and supply terminals.
The isolator is certified for use in ATEX hazardous areas and meets rigorous standards including FM, UL 61010 / 508, IECEX, DNV-GL, and SIL 2 according to IEC 61508. It safely measures contacts and sensors in zone 0 and Division 1 explosion hazard areas by limiting energy to intrinsic safe levels, preventing ignition risks even in the event of damaged sensors or cables.
This DIN rail mount device includes screw terminal connections and IP20 protection rating. It offers advanced configuration and monitoring through the detachable PR 4501 display module, enabling selection of direct or inverted function per channel, process simulation, and diagnostics including cable fault detection, error monitoring, and internal communication health.
The module provides extended self-diagnostics, monitoring of cable faults, and status relays to indicate malfunctions or cable breaks.
