This dual channel pulse isolator features a normally closed (N/C) relay output and supports supply voltages of 19.2 V dc and 31.2 V dc. It uses transformer and optical isolation to guarantee 2.6 kVac galvanic isolation between input, output, and supply, effectively preventing electrical connection of input pulses with output signals.
The 9202B3B is designed for use in SIL 2 applications in compliance with IEC 61508, demonstrating safety and reliability for automated industrial processes. It functions as an isolation barrier, limiting energy levels on sensor contacts to prevent ignition in flammable atmospheres in zone 0/ Division 1 explosion hazard areas.
