Product Description
TE Connectivity 640456-7 MTA-100 Series Straight Through Hole Pin Header provides 7 male contacts at a 2.54 mm pitch, arranged in 1 row for wire-to-board interconnect applications. The unshrouded design allows flexible access and easy solder termination on PCBs. This pin header is manufactured using Polybutylene Terephthalate housing and Copper Alloy contacts plated with Tin providing high durability and corrosion resistance.
Rated for 5 amperes current and 250 volts, this connector operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -55°C minimum to 105°C maximum. The tail pin length of 3.18 mm fits well for typical PCB layouts facilitating mass termination with corresponding MTA IDC wire connectors.
This MTA-100 Series header is especially suited for automotive body systems, chassis wiring, driver information, and safety/security electronics, as well as desktop PC, notebook, server, and storage device interconnections.
