IDEM KL3-SS-P2L Series Solenoid Interlock Switch Power to Lock is a high-quality safety device engineered to secure sliding or hinged machine guards effectively until potential hazards are eliminated. The switch features a tongue-operated mechanism with positively operated switching contacts. It is equipped with 1 normally open and 1 normally closed safety contact, supplemented by 2 auxiliary contacts, permitting sophisticated diagnostics and functional safety monitoring. Screw-type terminals and M20 conduit entry provide secure, straightforward electrical connections.

Operating at 24V DC with a contact current of 1.2A, the device supports power-to-lock functionality. Its rugged design includes IP67 and IP69K ingress protection ratings, rendering it suitable for use in washdown areas and harsh conditions commonly found in Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, and Petrochemical sectors.
