Product Description
Electromen OY EM174 DC Motor Controller is engineered for efficient and reliable control of DC motors within a supply voltage range of 12V to 32V DC and supporting up to 8A continuous current and 12A peak. This PWM drive module enables precise motor speed adjustment using either a potentiometer or direct voltage signal. Its bidirectional control with positive and negative potentiometer inputs allows seamless rotation direction management with a stop before reversing to prevent high in-rush currents.
The controller supports adjustable current limit settings via onboard trim pots or external voltage signals, providing protection against motor jams and mechanical overloads. Additionally, it features load compensation (IR compensation) and soft start acceleration ramps for gentle motor startups, prolonging motor life and enhancing performance. The compact physical dimensions (65mm length, 73mm width, and 30mm depth) and DIN rail mount capability facilitate integration into industrial automation systems.
