Vero Technologies 222-2991 is a double-sided FR4 matrix board designed with 1mm plated through holes spaced on a 2.54mm pitch on a 160mm by 100mm epoxy glass fabric laminate. The board thickness of 1.6mm provides rigid support for complex electronic circuit prototyping, particularly for microprocessor applications requiring high-density layouts and reliable screening.

This matrix board features a colander ground plane on the component side that helps dissipate switching spikes, enhancing glitch-free, high-speed circuit operation. The ground plane is solder resist coated and screen printed in yellow except for the 0V rail regions, allowing easy through connection aligned with wiring side rails.

The plated through holes link the top and bottom pads directly, eliminating the need for linking pins and resulting in mechanically strong solder joints. This design greatly improves connection reliability, which is critical in environments with potential vibration.

Designed for compatibility, the board supports fitting of 64/96-way DIN 41612 indirect edge connectors at either end and is suitable for KM6-II eurocard sub-rack systems. The copper thickness is 35μm, supporting excellent conductivity and durability.
