Product Description
TE Connectivity TXR40AB00-1410AI is a straight circular connector adapter designed for terminating braided cable shields to MIL-C-38999 connectors. It features a robust aluminium body with cadmium plating on both the shell and contacts, enhancing corrosion resistance and electrical performance. This adapter utilizes the TXR series Tinel Lock system, comprising a two-piece assembly including an aluminium alloy modified spin coupling and a special shape memory metal Tinel-Lock ring.
The Tinel-Lock ring uniformly shrinks when heated, providing a permanent 360° termination that withstands shock, vibration, thermal cycling, and corrosion. This assembly ensures reliable cable shield termination essential for military and industrial-grade connector applications.
The device has a connector size of M22 with female gendered contacts and a length of 26.9 mm in a straight orientation. Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 175°C, suitable for harsh environmental conditions.
