Product Description
MikroElektronika MIKROE-2227 is a new communication and wireless development kit designed for use with the mikroBUS socket. It features the MCP2003B click add-on board that enables a physical interface to automotive and industrial Local Interconnect Network (LIN) systems.
This development kit supports LIN Bus Specifications Revision 2.2 and adheres to standards SAE J2602 and ISO 17987, ensuring reliable communication in automotive networks and industrial applications. The MCP2003B click allows data transfer rates of up to 720 kBaud, enabling fast and efficient communication.
Supporting up to 15 slave devices connected to a single master, the kit's UART interface includes RXD and TXD pins placed both on the mikroBUS socket and at the edges of the board for flexible integration. The VREN output pin is low only during Power-Down mode, optimizing power management. A WAKE input pin allows the device to enter Ready mode quickly when needed, and additional pins for LWAKE and CS on the edges of the board provide enhanced control options.
Powered by a 3.3 V supply from the mikroBUS socket, this kit is suitable for embedded communication applications, automotive systems development, and industrial control systems. The click mikroBUS interface boards simplify interfacing tasks, and the included headers are pre-soldered for immediate use.
