Product Description

The LV Surge Tester SWT 6 is a device used to precisely locate faults in underground power cables using acoustic methods. It employs a suitable Surge Wave Receiver to pinpoint these faults. Additionally, it can pre-locate fault distances with a suitable pre-locator unit in impulse current (ICM) mode. It is designed to deliver 750 Joules of energy at selectable ranges of 3kV and 6kV, making it effective for use on low voltage power cable networks.

Application

It is used to pin-point underground cable faults in power transmission, distribution cable networks in acoustic mode with the help of a suitable surge wave receiver.

HV Output Cable (6 sq mm single core screen cable, 5-meter length with heavy-duty clamp).
