RS PRO 166-838 Volt-Stick PRO is a high-quality, pen style non-contact voltage detector designed to safely verify the presence of AC voltage ranging from 230 V to 1000 V.

This versatile tool enables electricians, technicians, and tradespersons to test voltage in cables, wall sockets, and fuse junction boxes without requiring current flow, enhancing safety and convenience on site.

It utilizes a patented forked tip to provide unsurpassed selectivity, as the highest sensitivity is found between the two prongs. To accommodate larger cables and fuses, the device includes a tip adapter along with a clip-in shunt that allows it to function as a conventional, albeit lower selectivity, voltage indicator.

The Volt-Stick PRO emits a powerful red light when voltage is detected, providing clear visual indication. Its fully insulated design supports usage at altitudes up to 2000 meters. The detector operates on two 1.5 V AAA batteries, which are included, and is suitable for operation in temperatures from -10°C up to 50°C.
