The STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ILL090V1 LED Driver Evaluation Kit STEVAL-ILL090V1 is designed for direct control applications using the STM8 MCU platform. Featuring the ALED8102SXTTR LED driver, this board facilitates the development and testing of automotive lighting scenarios.

The board offers dual operation modes: an ambient light mode utilizing three RGB LEDs with customizable brightness and color, and a motorcycle rear light mode with dual orange LED arrow indicators and a central red LED to simulate position or stop lights. Control is achieved via an intuitive selector switch (SEL) and a rotary switch (SW1), allowing fast and seamless changes of light intensity and channel selection.

Power can be supplied through a USB mini connector or via a dedicated 12 V power input (J2), providing flexibility for various test environments. The board's design complies with important environmental standards including RoHS, China RoHS, and WEEE directives.
