Product Description
IDEM 202001-SS KLM Series Solenoid Interlock Switch, Power to Unlock, features a metal housing with robust construction designed for guard locking in industrial applications. Operating at 24V AC/DC with a power-to-unlock mechanism, it ensures guard safety on sliding or hinged machine guards until hazards are cleared.
This solenoid interlock switch has a tongue-operated actuator mechanism with positively operated switching contacts, providing reliable position interlock detection. The switch is tamper resistant with a strong key mechanism and includes 1 Normally Open (NO) safety contact along with 1 auxiliary contact.
Designed for harsh environments, the switch offers IP67 ingress protection and a housing made from diecast material with a stainless steel head for durability. It meets multiple international standards including IEC 60947-5-1, UL, and EN certifications, supporting integration with safety relays for up to Category 4 PLe ISO 13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061 safety functions.
Power to unlock configuration for safe machine guard locking. Durable red painted diecast body with stainless steel head. 1 NO safety contact plus 1 auxiliary contact with positive break contacts. Ingress Protection rated at IP67 for water and dust resistance.
