It features a black UL 94V-0 polyester glass-filled polyethylene terephthalate housing providing flame retardance and durability, with a tin plated steel front shell for mechanical protection.

The connector is engineered with 15 female contacts made from phosphor bronze, plated with gold over nickel to ensure excellent electrical connectivity, corrosion resistance, and durability. It supports a maximum current rating of 6 amperes to reliably carry power in demanding conditions.

Mounting is through hole type for secure printed circuit board installation, compatible with PCBs of 1.6 mm thickness. The termination method is solder to assure stable and permanent electrical connections.
