Isocom MOC3020 AC Input Optocoupler provides reliable optical isolation in electrical circuits, combining an infrared emitting diode and a light activated silicon bilateral switch configured as a triac output. Encapsulated in a sturdy 6-pin dual-in-line package, this device is designed for through-hole PCB mounting commonly used in industrial and consumer electronics.

The device accepts AC input currents up to 50mA with a maximum forward voltage of 1.5V on the input diode, capable of driving triac loads with 400V peak blocking voltage.
