IDEM 404201 LPF Series Non-Contact Safety Switch features a rectangular thermoplastic housing colored red, rated IP67 for ingress protection against dust and water. It measures 15mm in width, 37mm in length, and 13mm in depth. This master coded safety switch offers high tamper-proof RFID coded actuation ensuring reliable door interlock security by requiring both magnetic and RFID conditions to be met for operation.
This safety switch is designed for use in industrial, automation, and electrical applications requiring stringent safety levels. It connects to most popular safety relays to provide up to PLe/Category 4 safety performance according to ISO13849-1 standards.
The device includes diagnostic green LED indication for safety circuit status; 2NC safety outputs provide short circuit protection, and 1NO auxiliary output indicates door open status. The switch has no moving parts, which enhances its durability and resistance to shock and vibration, resulting in extended switch life.
With an IP67 rating and plastic housing, it is suitable for use in harsh environments including high pressure washdown, Cleaning In Place (CIP), and Sterilization In Place (SIP) processes.
