EAO 31-453.036 Illuminated Push Button Switch is designed for diverse Human Machine Interface (HMI) panel mounting applications such as process control, panel building, machinery, and instrumentation in industrial, manufacturing, and automation sectors.

The 31 series Push Button Switches by EAO feature an 18mm diameter round bezel and a button actuator that offers easy and quick operation. Illumination is provided by a T1 ¾ midget groove filament lamp or a single chip LED operating between 6V and 48V, suitable for visual indication on panels. For voltage higher than 48V, an external resistor is recommended.

This switch includes versatile switching elements: a double-break snap action element for high reliability in power switching, and a low level element designed for electronic circuit switching with a range from 10μA at 100μV up to 100mA at 42Vac/dc, complete with solder or PCB terminals.

Installation requires a 16mm panel cut-out and fits panels with thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 6mm. The button profile is raised and the switch housing material is self-extinguishing, meeting Class II electrical safety standards. Electrical strength tests validate endurance at 2500Vac 50Hz for one minute between terminals and earth following IEC 60512-2-11 standards.
