Product Description
Optris CATCTLT20CB3K is a high-precision Infrared Temperature Sensor designed to measure temperatures ranging from -50 °C to 975 °C with an accuracy of ±1 % and an outstanding optical resolution of 22:1. The sensor features one of the world's smallest infrared sensing heads at 12mm diameter, crafted from robust stainless steel to endure industrial environments.
This compact sensor is mounted via screw fitting and is optimized for installations in limited space applications. It has a maximum ambient temperature tolerance of 18 °C and includes adjustable emissivity settings to adapt measurement conditions for various materials.
The sensor's fast response time of 0.15 seconds allows rapid temperature acquisition, critical for industrial process control. It covers a spectral range between 8 to 14 micrometers, capturing accurate infrared temperature data.
The device is comprised of a separate electronics box featuring a configurable terminal device with selectable analog outputs and optional digital interfaces including RS485, relay, and Profibus for versatile connectivity. Users can configure and monitor measurements via a built-in LCD display, three physical buttons, an Android IR mobile app, or included Windows software.
The package contains the CT pyrometer sensor, mounting bracket, nut, 3-meter head cable, IR app connector, Micro-USB cable with USB-C/USB-A adapters, and the software package Compact Connect.
