FTDI Chip VNC2-48L1C-TRAY is a single-channel USB 2.0 controller IC designed for embedded applications requiring high data transfer rates up to 12 Mbps. This device features a 48-pin Low-profile Quad Flat Package (LQFP) suitable for surface mounting. It supports dual supply voltages of 1.98V and 3.3V with built-in ESD protection ensuring robust operation.
Internally, the controller integrates a 16-bit Harvard architecture MCU with 256KBytes of flash memory and 16KBytes RAM, supporting flexible firmware development. Its rich interface selection includes 2 full-/low-speed USB 2.0 host/slave ports, UART with speeds up to 6 MBaud, 8-bit FIFO interface, SPI master and slave interfaces, and PWM support. Additionally, the device includes a 4-channel DMA controller and timers for optimized control.
It operates in a temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for industrial environments.
