STMicroelectronics STEVAL-BCN002V1B Sensor Development Tool is a Bluetooth Low Energy enabled sensor node development kit designed for advanced sensor integration and wireless communication. It incorporates the STEVAL-BCN001 multi-sensor board based on the BlueNRG-2 SoC Bluetooth Low Energy application processor, enabling developers to create sensor-driven applications with ease.

The multi-sensor board includes an array of precise sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, pressure, humidity, Time-of-Flight, and microphones, providing comprehensive environmental and motion data capture capabilities. The sensor board operates on a common CR2032 coin battery, offering compact and efficient power supply.

For connectivity and control, the sensor board communicates with Bluetooth LE enabled smartphones running the ST BLE Sensor application available on Google Play and the iTunes Store, facilitating real-time sensor data visualization and interaction.

The kit also includes the STEVAL-BCN002V1D adapter board used for programming and debugging the sensor board. This adapter board is conveniently powered via USB connection, allowing easy integration with PC-based development environments.
