IDEM KL1-P Series Solenoid Interlock Switch KL1-P is a power-to-unlock safety device designed for securing sliding or hinged machine guards with a robust locking mechanism using a 110V AC supply and IP67 rated plastic housing.
This solenoid interlock switch ensures guard locks until hazards are removed, using a tongue-operated mechanism with positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key system. It features spring-to-lock action and energizes the solenoid to unlock safely.
The device includes 2 lock monitoring safety contacts providing high-level diagnostic capabilities, and 2 emergency manual release points for critical safety scenarios. The positive break contacts conform to IEC 60947-5-1 standards, ensuring reliable and safe operation.
