STMicroelectronics STM32L452RET6P is a new ultra-low-power microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit RISC core, operating at up to 80 MHz. This microcontroller features 512kB of FLASH program memory with 160kB RAM, housed in a compact 64-pin LQFP surface mount package situated on a 10mm x 10mm footprint with 1.45mm height.

The Cortex-M4 core incorporates a single-precision Floating Point Unit (FPU) and full DSP instruction support, enhancing performance for complex embedded applications. It also contains a memory protection unit (MPU) to enhance security.

This device supports an operating voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V and can operate reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, suitable for various industrial and environmental conditions.

Peripheral features include 16 channels of 12-bit ADC with a sample rate up to 5 Msps, one 12-bit DAC channel, two analogue comparators, one operational amplifier, an internal voltage reference buffer, and five programmable timers including a 32-bit general-purpose timer and timers dedicated to motor control applications.
