STMicroelectronics STGAP2HDMTR MOSFET Gate Driver in 36-pin SO-36W package is designed for industrial mid to high power applications such as power conversion and motor driver inverters. It provides a galvanically isolated dual gate driver channel, capable of delivering 4 A output drive current with rail-to-rail outputs to ensure efficient switching performance.
The device enables independent optimization of turn-on and turn-off by separating output pins and utilizing dedicated gate resistors. The Miller CLAMP feature effectively suppresses gate voltage spikes during fast switching in half-bridge topologies, enhancing device robustness.
For system protection, the integrated undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and thermal shutdown functions simplify design and improve reliability.
