Product Description
ITT Cannon MDM-15PH003B-A174 is a 15 way straight micro-D cable D-Sub connector offering a 1.27 mm pitch, designed specifically for demanding industrial, military, and commercial electronic applications.
Its aluminium alloy shell is electroless nickel plated to provide enhanced mechanical strength and robust electromagnetic (EMI) as well as radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding capabilities. The micro-D connectors incorporate silicone elastomer compression interfacial seals to effectively protect both contacts and the connector shell from moisture and humidity, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments.
The connector utilizes size 24 MICROPIN™ or MICROSOCKET™ copper alloy contacts with gold plating to guarantee superior electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The termination type is pre-wired harness wire with 18 inch, 7¾ strand 26 AWG Teflon insulated wire, color-coded per MIL-STD-681 system I standards. Standard mounting holes of 2.31 mm diameter provide secure cable installation.
This connector series is engineered for demanding environments with operating temperature ranges from -55°C up to 125°C. It supports current up to 3A and is suitable for integration in military gear, industrial control systems, and commercial computer interfacing equipment.
