ADAFRUIT INDUSTRIES 1946 FONA MiniGSM uFL SIM800 Mobile Communication Module is a miniature cellular communication module designed to add voice, text, SMS, and data capabilities to embedded projects. Operating at a maximum frequency of 1.9 GHz, it integrates the SIM800 GSM cellular module technology within a compact form factor of approximately 4.45 x 3.18 cm (1.75" x 1.25"). This module is ideal for applications requiring cellular connectivity such as industrial monitoring, remote control systems, IoT devices, and prototyping platforms.

The module supports quad-band GSM frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), allowing global GSM network compatibility. It handles SMS sending and receiving, voice calls using either the onboard headphone socket or external 8 Ω speaker and electret microphone, and GPRS data communication supporting TCP/IP and HTTP protocols for internet connectivity.

Additional functionalities include FM radio broadcast scanning, PWM output for buzzer and vibrational motor controls, and an AT command interface with automatic baud rate detection for ease of integration with microcontrollers.
