Product Description

4D Systems SK-gen4-28DT-PI is a new 2.8 inch resistive touch screen LCD display module designed for use with Raspberry Pi systems. This integrated display module combines a Diablo16 controller with a high-contrast 240 x 320 pixel display, delivering clear visuals suitable for embedded applications in industrial, educational, and development environments.

The resistive touch technology allows user interaction via touch for versatile input options. Its compact module dimensions of 87.3 x 52.1 x 7.4 mm and a display viewing area of 57.6 x 43.2 mm enable easy integration into various Raspberry Pi projects requiring visual feedback and user control.

The module supports multiple programming and development environments including Designer, ViSi, ViSi-Genie, and Serial environments, facilitated by use of a 4 GB micro-SD card and programming cables such as the gen4-PA and gen4-IB adapters. Data logging and firmware updates are easily managed through these accessories.

Operating ambient temperature ranges from -15°C to +65°C, with storage capability from -30°C to +70°C, ensuring reliability in diverse conditions. The backlight system consists of 1 x 4 LEDs providing approximately 220 nits brightness, suitable for indoor use.
