Product Description

The Digilent 410-348 Pmod COLOR sensor development module is a compact expansion module designed for industrial and embedded system color sensing applications. Featuring the on-board AMS TCS3472 sensor, this module includes an integrated IR blocking filter to ensure accurate measurement of red, green, blue, and clear light components. The module also includes a user-controlled white LED to illuminate objects for reflective measurements, enhancing reliability under varying lighting conditions and through attenuating materials such as darkened glass.

Measuring just 0.8 inches by 1.35 inches (2.03 cm x 3.43 cm), the small PCB size of the Pmod COLOR module facilitates flexible design and easy integration into existing embedded platforms. It adheres to the Digilent Pmod interface specification type 6, providing a 6-pin connector with I²C communication, alongside a pass-through Pmod host port that permits daisy chaining to multiple Pmod modules.
