Product Description

Digilent 410-299 is a high-speed JTAG-HS3 programming cable used primarily with Xilinx FPGA and SoC devices, enabling efficient programming and debugging from a host PC. It drives JTAG signals with a separate Vref voltage adjustable from +1.8V to +5V to ensure signal integrity adapted to the target device requirements.

This programming cable features a USB 2.0 high-speed port that enables JTAG bus communication at rates up to 30 Mbit/sec, ensuring swift data transfer and programming speeds. The cable’s PC connection is supported through a MicroUSB connector, while the target device interface is a 2 x 7-pin 2mm JTAG connector. An open-drain buffer on pin 14 allows automatic processor reset functionality on Xilinx Zynq platform devices.

Compatibility includes Xilinx ISE software versions 14.1 and newer, as well as Xilinx Vivado 2013.3 and later. It supports a broad spectrum of target devices, such as Xilinx FPGAs, Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoCs, CoolRunner and CoolRunner-II CPLDs, Platform Flash ISP configuration PROMs, and selected third-party SPI and BPI PROMs.

Not supported are Xilinx 9500/9500XL CPLDs, 1700 and 18V00 ISP configuration PROMs, and Xilinx FPGA eFUSE programming. The cable is supplied with a USB cable for immediate use.
