Product Description

Idec EB3C-R06AN is a 6 channel relay barrier Zener barrier designed for signal conditioning and isolation in hazardous environments. This ATEX certified product features a compact design for easy DIN rail mounting, with screw terminal connections to minimize wiring time.

The relay barrier provides explosion protection rated (Exia) II C, suitable for use in explosive gas and Zone 0/Class I Div. 1 areas. The barrier supports universal supply voltage between 100 and 240V AC, delivering maximum safety current of 14.2 mA with a safety current resistance of 300Ω. The product operates efficiently in a temperature range from -20°C to 60°C, with an IP20 protection rating.

This model is lightweight and compact, occupying significantly less footprint and weight compared to IDEC’s previous 10-circuit IBRC series. For applications requiring more channels, 8- and 16-channel variants are available from the same series, with common wiring that interfaces well with PLCs.

Its robust design and certification standards (UL, CE, IEC, FM) make it ideal for industrial automation, electrical control systems, instrumentation, and safety applications requiring reliable isolation in hazardous locations.
