STMicroelectronics STEVAL-STLCS02V1 SensorTile Motion Sensor Data Capture Card is a compact sensor development tool designed to integrate motion sensing, barometric pressure sensing, electronic compass, microphone, MCU, and Bluetooth Low Energy on a single tiny PCB. It features an 80MHz STM32L476JG Cortex M4F microcontroller with 1MB Flash and 128KB RAM providing powerful processing capabilities while maintaining low power consumption.

The card includes the LSM6DSM iNEMO inertial module with a 3D accelerometer and 3D gyroscope, the LSM303AGR eCompass module combining a 3D accelerometer and 3D magnetometer, and the LPS22HB MEMS digital barometer offering an absolute pressure sensing range from 260 to 1260hPa. For acoustic inputs, it integrates the MP34DT04 MEMS digital microphone with a 64 dB signal-to-noise ratio.

Bluetooth 4.1 communication is enabled by the BlueNRG-MS network processor along with a BALF-NRG-01D3 50 Ω balun that includes an integrated harmonic filter and chip antenna. The card supports various external interfaces including UART, SPI, SAI, I²C, DFSDM, USB OTG, ADC, and GPIO for extensive connectivity options, making it suitable for versatile development environments.

This module operates on a power supply ranging from +2.0 to +5.5Vdc and measures just 13.5 x 13.5mm, allowing easy integration into space-constrained designs. It is primarily intended for IoT standalone sensor nodes and monitoring systems compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.

The STEVAL-STLCS02V1 supports firmware debugging and programming via the SWD interface and is available with solder only connection for host board integration.
