TE Connectivity 1-640456-0 MTA-100 Series Straight Through Hole Pin Header is a precision electronic connector designed for mass termination of wires in wire-to-board applications. It features 10 male contacts arranged in a single row with a 2.54 mm pitch and an unshrouded, straight orientation suitable for through-hole mounting.

The housing is made of glass-filled polyester providing excellent mechanical strength and electrical insulation. Each copper alloy contact is plated with tin to enhance corrosion resistance and ensure reliable solder connections with a tail pin length of 3.18 mm.

Operating across a temperature range from -55°C to 105°C and supporting up to 5A current at 250V, this pin header is built for robust performance in demanding environments. The friction lock mechanism additionally ensures secure mating with MTA-100 IDC connectors.
