Microchip AT86RF233-ZU ZigBee Transceiver is a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4-2011 compliant low-power radio transceiver designed for both industrial and consumer high data rate wireless communication applications.

This 32-pin QFN surface mount device supports O-QPSK modulation with a maximum data rate of 2Mbps, providing robust and efficient wireless communication. It operates over a frequency range of 2405MHz to 2480MHz with RF output power up to +4dBm, and features exceptional receiver sensitivity of -101dBm at 250kbps with 1% packet error rate, ensuring reliable data transmission in challenging conditions.

The transceiver includes an SPI interface for seamless host communication and incorporates advanced features such as AES-128 encryption for secure transmissions, frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) for improved interference immunity, clear channel assessment, automated acknowledgements, and link quality indication.
