4D Systems SK-uVGA-III Graphics Display Development Kit is a standalone VGA controller starter kit featuring the advanced PICASO graphics controller. It delivers high-quality graphical output on LCDs and monitors, supporting color depths up to 65,000 colors with resolutions of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA), 640 x 480 pixels (VGA), and 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA).

The module integrates an extensible virtual engine architecture (EVE) enabling smooth animation, video, icons, and full-color image display. With interfaces such as 4 Wire, SPI, CPU, UART, I2C, and GPIO, it is versatile for various embedded electronic applications.

The kit includes several peripheral features: 13 GPIO pins for flexible input/output control, two asynchronous hardware serial ports for communication, a microSD memory card socket supporting extended storage, 15K bytes of onboard flash memory, and 14K bytes of SRAM for graphics operations. Additionally, it provides a PWM audio pin and 8 timers (16-bit) for precise timing control.
