Moflash BC150 Series Red Beacon BC150 is an explosion proof visual signalling device designed for safe use in hazardous industrial environments including oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, offshore, refineries, and marine sectors. Operating at 240V DC, this beacon utilizes a Xenon strobe bulb providing a flashing red light effect with 360° visibility around the vertical axis.
The housing is constructed from high-quality stainless steel combined with glass reinforced plastic, finished in red (RAL3001), and a tempered glass lens to resist damage from adverse conditions. The device is rated IP66, ensuring dustproof and weatherproof protection, and certified for safety standards EN 60079-31:2009, EN 60079-1:2007, and IEC equivalents.
This beacon series supports operation in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for very harsh environments. Installation includes a base mount and four M20 cable entries with rising clamp protectors that accommodate cable sizes up to 2.5 mm².
