Product Description

Moflash A2EX series metallic stainless steel cable gland, model A2EX, is engineered for reliable cable sealing and retention in industrial and hazardous environments. It features an M20 thread size compatible with cable diameters between 11 mm and 15 mm and is designed for use with unarmoured cables in potentially explosive atmospheres.

This cable gland meets stringent equipment protection levels including Ex d IIC Gb, Ex e IIC Gb, Ex nR IIC Gc, and Ex tb IIIC Db, suitable for Group II surface installations. Its durable stainless steel construction offers excellent corrosion resistance ensuring long service life in both indoor and outdoor hazardous areas.

The gland delivers superior cable retention by employing a dual-seal design: an inner seal that grips the cable sheath and an outer seal that secures the cable body. This design guarantees IP66 and IP68 ingress protection ratings, providing resistance against dust ingress and water immersion.
