Moflash A2EX-QS series brass nickel plated brass cable gland (model A2EX-QS) is engineered for use with unarmoured cables in hazardous environments with potentially explosive atmospheres. The product features a M20 thread size accommodating cable diameters ranging from 11 mm to 15 mm, and offers robust sealing providing IP68 and IP66 ingress protection levels.

Manufactured to stringent industrial standards including EN 60079-0, EN 60079-1, EN 60079-31, and EN 60079-7, the gland is suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive atmospheres with equipment protection levels such as Ex d IIC Gb and Ex e IIC Gb. It is suitable for industrial, manufacturing, and electrical automation applications requiring safety and integrity in hazardous areas.

The gland employs a unique barrier compression sealing system that uses a precision injected resin to form a complete seal around cable cores, effectively preventing the transmission of explosive gases and moisture along the cable. The nickel plated brass (marine grade electroless) construction ensures durability and corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor installations. The gland comes with a sealing gasket; however, a locknut is not included and must be purchased separately if required.
