Wurth Elektronik 7427154 STAR-RING split core openable ferrite sleeve features a 16 mm diameter aperture designed to suppress electromagnetic interference on cables including midget blind rivet applications. The openable ferrite sleeve incorporates a security locking mechanism to prevent accidental or unauthorized removal, making it reusable and ideal for cables in challenging access scenarios or for test and measurement purposes.
Constructed with durable UL94-V0 rated plastic housing, the sleeve provides reliable, long-term EMI protection with enhanced contact pressure thanks to a new snap lock design. The sleeve has an impedance of 169 ohms at 25 MHz and 280 ohms at 100 MHz, ensuring broadband noise suppression up to 1 GHz. Its compact external dimensions are 20 mm depth, 43 mm width, and 32 mm height.
The ferrite sleeve includes an extra eye for screw attachment and can be easily affixed using double-sided adhesive tape or cable ties.
