The extension lead includes a 13A fused molded plug with a 7A BS1362 fuse to ensure compliance with BS6396 'Office Equipment Standard' and has a thermal fuse that operates at 100ºC for added protection. Its surge protection meets Category B of BS6651:1999 Annex C, with lightning transient protection across all three modes (Line-Neutral, Line-Earth, Neutral-Earth) limiting peak voltages to 900V at 3kA.
