Product Description

CAL 992.22C PID Temperature Controller provides advanced, microcontroller-based temperature control for demanding industrial and laboratory processes. Designed with two solid-state digital (SSD) outputs, this unit is highly versatile, supporting both heating and cooling applications.

As a PID controller, it delivers proportional, integral, and derivative control for precise regulation of process temperatures, far surpassing basic ON/OFF controllers. The CAL 9900 series features auto-tune and Push-to-Tune algorithms, allowing fast and accurate setup for varied applications. Auto-tune can be engaged during warm-up, while Push-to-Tune is effective even in challenging thermal conditions.

With its compact 1/16 DIN panel mount construction (48 x 48 mm), the controller is easy to install in standard DIN panels. It also accommodates DIN adapters for 1/8 and 1/4 DIN configurations, ensuring exceptional integration flexibility.

The controller operates on a 230V AC power supply and delivers a maximum output of 5A, suitable for a range of heating elements and process devices. The LED display is large and clear, providing straightforward visibility of process temperature and operational status, supported by four oversized control buttons for easy operation.

Built with an IP54 rating, the CAL 992.22C is robustly protected against dust and water spray, making it suitable for environments with average contamination and moisture exposure.
