Electromen OY EM-241B-PLI is a DC Motor Controller designed for precise and reliable control of brushed DC motors in industrial automation applications. Operating within a wide 10V to 35V DC supply range, it delivers continuous 15A current output and uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) function for efficient motor management.
This controller features a full bridge design, supporting both forward and reverse directions, and offers adjustable acceleration and deceleration ramps for smooth motor starts and stops. Its advanced protection mechanisms include current limit (0.1 - 20A, up to 30A at startup), overcurrent shutdown, and overvoltage braking, safeguarding both the motor and the drive circuit.
The EM-241B-PLI version includes a built-in pulse counter for programmable end stops, enabling highly accurate positioning in automated systems. Two settable speeds are available, which can be activated via control input or an analogue speed signal (0 - 5V). Basic motor commands such as forward, backward, and stop can be issued through control inputs, while limit switch inputs help define mechanical end stops.
The device supports flexible control modes: continuous (motor runs as long as command input is active) and impulse (motor responds to momentary command pulses).
